Notice: Please send any questions/concerns here.
Hi! My name is Molly, and I am the curator for The Kids Hub. I am a 20 year old self-proclaimed internet expert; I even sent my very first email at age four! Granted, it was only clip art images, but my grandma loved it. I wanted to create this "hub" to provide links to many of my former favorites, and other great sites I have come across over the years. If there's anything you'd like to see here, please feel free to let me know via my email address linked above (click on the word "here" in the above notice).
If you're wondering how PC Pete comes up with his star rankings for each website, the criteria is as follows.
For "Fun Links"
★☆☆☆☆: This site will keep you entertained for a single visit, not much to return for.
★★☆☆☆: This site is fun, but difficult to browse. There may be intrusive ads if you do not have an AdBlocker enabled.
★★★☆☆: This site has a lot of fun games and videos. There may be ads here for additional products and services.
★★★★☆: This website is fun, educational, and easy to browse. There may be additional features that can only be unlocked with payment.
★★★★★: This website is fun, educational, easy to browse, and all of the content is free! There may even be ways to get involved offline, including free downloads (printables, videos, crafts, etc.) or travel opportunities.
For "Educational Links":
★☆☆☆☆: This site has detailed information, but only on one or two topics. It may not help you unless you are doing a project on a specific subject.
★★☆☆☆: This site is helpful, though it is updated infrequently. Information may not be up to date and may not include sources.
★★★☆☆: This site has a lot of information on many different subjects that include sources. There may be videos in addition to articles.
★★★★☆: This website has tons of information with multiple verifiable sources. Articles and videos may be sorted by age, grade, or subject.
★★★★★: This website has been critically acclaimed for its resources. It is up to date, credible, and has several ways to find and interact with educational material.
